About
Richie Sambora – Stranger In This Town
Stranger In This Town is the soulful 1991 debut solo album from Richie Sambora, best known as the legendary guitarist of Bon Jovi. This album showcases Sambora’s blues influences and rich vocal depth, stepping away from arena rock toward a more heartfelt, guitar-driven sound.

Featuring standout tracks like “Ballad of Youth,” “One Light Burning,” and the title track “Stranger In This Town,” the record also includes a guest appearance by Eric Clapton on the smooth, bluesy “Mr. Bluesman.” With its lush production and emotional tone, this album reveals Sambora as a true songwriter in his own right — a must-have for fans of melodic rock and guitar craftsmanship.
