Ten Years After – Cricklewood Green

About
Ten Years After – Cricklewood Green (1970) [Original Pressing]

Cricklewood Green is one of Ten Years After’s finest albums, blending blues, hard rock, and psychedelia with a progressive edge. Released in 1970, this album showcases Alvin Lee’s blistering guitar work and the band’s tight musicianship. Tracks like “Love Like a Man” (their only UK chart hit), the bluesy “Me and My Baby”, and the trippy “50,000 Miles Beneath My Brain” highlight their versatility.

The original pressing came in a textured gatefold sleeve featuring a striking green-toned cover and a clever design that made it look like a well-worn book. Known for its warm analogue sound, this version is highly sought after by collectors. Cricklewood Green captures the peak of Ten Years After’s creativity and remains a must-have for classic rock and blues fans.
