The vinyl has been opened and played once, but it is very clean and has been well cared for. No scratches or marks show. There is no background noise. The record didn't play many times, but signs of playing can be present. The inlays are in perfect condition. The pages are all together, but there is a split on the inside of the book spine. (See photos.) The CDs are as new.

Radiohead – A Moon Shaped Pool is a deluxe special edition double album that goes far beyond the music. Housed in a beautiful, case-bound book package, it includes two 180g heavyweight black vinyl records and two compact discs—one with the full album and one with two additional tracks: “Spectre” and “Ill Wind.”
The book features 32 pages of specially commissioned artwork by longtime Radiohead collaborators Stanley Donwood and Dr. Tchock (Thom Yorke). The imagery is abstract, atmospheric, and deeply tied to the mood of the album—think weathered textures, dissolving landscapes, and fragmented typography.

This edition is printed on high-quality Italian paper stock, with a textured, clothbound cover. The vinyl is housed in printed inner sleeves, and the CDs are slotted within the book itself in custom die-cut pages.

* This is a piece of a Radiohead ½ inch master tape from an actual recording session.
The tape degrades over time and becomes unplayable. We thought rather than it ending up as landfill, we would cut it up and make it useful as a part of the special edition. A new life for some obsolete technology...
Each loop contains about ¾ of a second of audio, which could be from any era in the band's recording past, going back to Kid A.
