About
Lou Reed – Transformer
Initially released in 1972, Transformer marked a radical shift, with Lou Reed fusing streetwise tales with glam rock, aided by the production and influence of David Bowie and Mick Ronson. The result is an iconic album featuring “Walk on the Wild Side”, “Perfect Day” and “Satellite of Love”, songs that crossed into the mainstream while retaining Reed’s raw edge. This particular reissue (catalogue number 88985349031) is a remastered repress, making it a strong pick for collectors looking for audio clarity and lasting value.
